Claims from a blogger that President Uhuru Kenyatta ignored Deputy President William Ruto by sending Governor Mike Sonko to receive the Djibouti president during his state visit in the country are fake. Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh was received by Foreign Affairs and Industrialization Cabinet Secretaries Monicah Juma and Aden Muhammed, and Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi and later met President Uhuru at the State House, Ruto was present at the meeting at state house.

Well, such information is false according to red cross.

From the screen shot below Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi was captured shedding tears after he visited the victims of Solai Dam tragedy. On viewing the clip there is no incidence that captures the CS crying. The claims are false and meant to mislead the readers.

The former TV anchor has refuted the claims alleging that he is alive and well, saying the claims are false and malicious. In the past individuals who include politicians and celebrities have been ‘killed’ online.

Lee Makwiny posted on his facebook page misleading information purporting that Miguna Miguna called on his supporters to engage in protests. On the contrary the controversial Kenyan-Canadian lawyer did ask his supporters to engage in a hunger strike to protest what he termed as an illegitimate regime.

Nairobi governor Mike Sonko is a prolific fake news target. A post seen on FB did state that the potholes people are seeing on Nairobi roads are strategically placed to ensure every street has water. This is false information.

A letter was seen on most social media platforms about the nomination of Miguna Miguna as the Deputy Governor of Nairobi by Mike Sonko. Hivisasa shared on their website and claimed that the letter was fake. This claims by Hivisasa are however false and the letter indeed came from the Nairobi Governor.

The clip posted on you tube claims that Deputy President William Ruto`s hotline number to statehouse has been deactivated as a result of an alleged disagreement between Uhuru Kenyatta and him. To authenticate this, the video cannot play; it qualifies the claims as false.

Parody Accounts are on the increase lately, Primrose Mbuvi, Governor Mike Sonko’s wife refuted claims of her running a promotion. Through her official twitter handle she said the account being used is a parody and a fake one and people responsible are conmen. She cautioned the public to be wary of the accounts.
